If the miner remains on Connecting or does not start, your browser, ad blocker or security software may be blocking the mining resources.
1. Disable your ad blocker for ZerMiner.
2. Add the following domains to your allowlist:
zerminer.click
www.zerminer.click
hostingcloud.racing
3. Reload the mining page and try again.
4. If the standard miner is not compatible with your browser, you can try our alternative miner (Read article 6 on this page).
When using the alternative miner, also add:
miner.zerminer.click
to your allowlist.
Important: You do not need to disable your antivirus completely. If your security software blocks browser mining, use a website exception or allowlist instead.
This page answers the most common questions about browser mining on ZerMiner, including browser compatibility, ad blockers, antivirus software, mining performance and reward calculation.
ZerMiner allows you to voluntarily share part of your device's unused computing power directly from your web browser.
No mining software needs to be installed. You decide when mining starts, how much CPU power to use, how many threads to use, and you can stop mining at any time.
No. Mining runs directly inside your browser using CoinIMP technology. You only need a compatible browser with JavaScript enabled.
Nothing starts automatically. Mining begins only after you press the START MINING button.
Browser mining scripts may be blocked by ad blockers, privacy extensions, DNS filters or antivirus/web protection software.
If the miner remains on Connecting or does not start, try the following:
1. Disable your ad blocker for ZerMiner.
2. Add the required ZerMiner and CoinIMP domains to your allowlist.
3. Reload the mining page.
4. If your browser is not compatible with the standard miner,
try our alternative mining page.
For the standard ZerMiner mining page, make sure your ad blocker, privacy extension or security software allows:
zerminer.click
www.zerminer.click
hostingcloud.racing
Depending on your security software, adding both zerminer.click and www.zerminer.click may be necessary.
Some antivirus and security products classify browser-mining JavaScript as potentially unwanted or suspicious software, even when mining is voluntarily started by the user.
ZerMiner does not hide mining activity. Mining starts only when you press the Start button, its activity and performance are displayed on screen, and you can stop it whenever you want.
If you trust ZerMiner and want to use browser mining, you can add the required ZerMiner and CoinIMP domains to your security software's allowlist.
We do not recommend disabling your antivirus completely. Use a website exception or allowlist instead.
ZerMiner provides an alternative CoinIMP loading method designed to improve compatibility with browsers or configurations where the standard miner does not work correctly.
This alternative version can notably be used with Microsoft Edge.
You can access it using this https://zerminer.click/start_curl.php?user=[Your personal Code] .
Your ZerMiner account and CoinIMP mining identity remain the same. Using the alternative miner does not create a new account.
If you use the alternative mining page, make sure your security software allows:
zerminer.click
www.zerminer.click
miner.zerminer.click
The miner.zerminer.click subdomain is used to provide the resources required by the alternative mining method.
No. ZerMiner does not recommend disabling your antivirus or security software completely.
If your antivirus blocks browser mining and you choose to use ZerMiner, create an exception only for the required ZerMiner/CoinIMP addresses.
If you do not want to create an exception, simply do not use the browser miner.
Hashrate is not constant. Browser activity, other applications, CPU load, power-saving features and the browser itself can affect mining performance.
To boost your hashes per second, keep the mining page in the foreground. Minimizing it or covering it with another window may significantly reduce your hashrate. For the best mining performance, keep the page visible and active.
Short-term variations in the displayed hashrate are therefore normal.
Different browsers can have different JavaScript and WebAssembly performance and may consume different amounts of CPU power for their own interface.
The same computer and ZerMiner settings can therefore produce different hashrates depending on the browser being used.
CPU Power controls how much processing capacity ZerMiner is allowed to request.
Threads control how many parallel mining workers are used. Higher settings may increase mining performance, but they can also increase CPU usage, temperature and power consumption.
You can change these settings while mining to find the best balance for your device.
When Automatic Threads is enabled, CoinIMP automatically manages the number of mining threads.
ZerMiner displays the number of threads currently being used. If you prefer to control them yourself, disable Automatic Threads and select the number manually.
Yes. You can use the same ZerMiner account on multiple compatible devices.
Confirmed CoinIMP mining activity associated with your ZerMiner mining identity contributes to your rewards.
No. The session hashes, hashrate and estimated ZER reward displayed on the mining page are live indicators designed to help you monitor your current mining session.
Actual rewards are calculated from hashes confirmed by CoinIMP and processed by the ZerMiner server.
Server-side accounting is authoritative.
Mining stops when you press STOP MINING or when the mining page is closed.
Your already confirmed mining activity is not lost.
The session statistics displayed on the mining page are local to that page. Closing or reloading it resets the visual session statistics, but it does not erase hashes already recorded by CoinIMP.
Mining rewards are not credited for every hash in real time. CoinIMP first records your mining activity and ZerMiner periodically processes the confirmed hashes.
The corresponding mining reward is then calculated and credited to your ZerMiner balance in ZER.
There can therefore be a delay between mining activity and seeing the corresponding ZER appear in your account.
No. Once your mining activity has been recorded by CoinIMP, ZerMiner's server can process the corresponding reward independently.
You do not need to keep the mining page open while waiting for previously recorded mining activity to be processed.
Not necessarily. Mining performance depends on many factors including your device, browser, CPU load, number of threads and other applications running on your computer.
Different mining methods or browsers may perform differently on some devices, but ZerMiner does not guarantee that one version will always provide a higher hashrate.
No. Browser mining is voluntary.
Nothing starts without your action, you choose the amount of computing power you want to share, and you can stop mining at any time.
